Private information is only accessible to persons who require access to provide for customers needs. The amount of private information is reduced to only that required to provide for customers needs.
Information provided to BRAEWORKS is not sold or passed on. Information is collected to support customers.
Customer and web site user passwords are not stored as plain text. Passwords are encrypted, providing a single ended encrypted variable. The encrypted variable is stored. The encrypted variable can only be used to authenticate a given password (e.g. during login). It provides no information about the original password. Password are only transmitted using 128 bit SSL encryption to secure servers.
Please Note: If a password is lost, BRAEWORKS cannot provide the user with a copy of the password, a new password must be generated. If a password is lost, contact BRAEWORKS for help.
BRAEWORKS does NOT save or hold credit card nor debit card information.
BRAEWORKS may use cookies to save shopping cart information and user preferences.
The BRAEWORKS web site does not use java.
The BRAEWORKS web site may use javascript for calculations and checking user input data.
All private information is exchanged on the internet using SSL encrypted data.
BRAEWORKS has a number of registered SSL encryption certificates to provide encryption of information.
Each registered SSL certificate is traceable to a BRAEWORKS server.
All design information is backed up weekly.
Design information is only available to the appropriate designated personnel.
Access to computer files requires a username and password authentication.
If it is necessary to have access to design information over the internet, BRAEWORKS provides a special URL link to one of BRAEWORKS' internal secure web servers.
BRAEWORKS work stations and servers have current anti-virus software installed.
All software is updated daily or if no updates are available at the daily update time, as soon as updates are available at the next days update time. Updates are automatic.
The BRAEWORKS email servers also have anti-spam and anti-virus software installed.
This software is updated automatically.
BRAEWORKS has a minimum of one firewall in operation on every work station and server.
Access from the internet requires passing through at least two firewalls on different machines.
Computers Operating Systems Updates
BRAEWORKS uses Linux based servers. These servers are updated as updates are available.
Workstations are updated regularly as updates are available.
